Rail travel in South Korea
Author: DocJohn

Later this year I will be speaking at a scientific conference in Jeju Island, South Korea.  Because of time constraints I will by flying to Jeju after arrival of flight from USA in Seoul.  I have time between end of conference and flight back to USA to take combination of boat and train back to Seoul.  Has anyone done this or has recent experience with train travel in South Korea?

Thank you,
John

I was in South Korea last year and had an excellent experience with train travel.

Because of my interest in railways I chose to avoid the high speed train.

I don't remember the web site but I suspect it can be found easily.

I was highly pleased with the ease of travel even in out of the way places.  You are headed for a huge tourist attraction so travel from Inchon Airport there should be quite easy.

Good Luck.
