Rumo is a new operator in Brazil. It was part of ALL and now took over ALL and changed the painting of the locomotives. The new company ordered 70 AC44i to GE of Brazil. Here are some pics of the brand new units at Barreiro yard near the GE plant.

Rumo, is the former ALL.  According to sources, ALL's ACe's will go to VLI.  The head of Rumo was formerly head of ZgZe do Brasil.

Hi, Rumo is company in the Ethanol business. It is part of Cosan, one of the biggest company in this market. Here are the links to the Rumo / Cosan

Vale is not part of Cosan group but is is bad situation these days with the low rates for iron ore. It is said that VLI wil take over Vale soon.
