Here's a clip I shot going northbound out of Kochi on the Dosan line, looking over the shoulder of the driver through the front windows.
In this singlr take, I started shooting when I saw a tunnel coming up, and then after passing through a few I decided to keep shooting until the tunnels ran out.
I made it to 5 min. before I gave up. And the tunnels kept coming....
The only spot I can positively ID is the junction between tunnels 7 & 8 - Shingai.
I've sped this up 2x to keep it a manageable size for uploading and viewing.

Thanks for posting another fun video! I anticipate some interesting reports to follow if you were riding on this line. I'll refrain from commenting any further for now.

I have 2 more videos in the works from riding the Dosan line. I don't want to spoil it for you, but there are more tunnels.

This was a 4-car DMU (diesel Multiple Unit). 
We were going 40-50 mph through the curves and tunnels and 70-ish on the (few) flat bits.
Those flat-nosed DMU's push more air in front of them than a speeding Shinkansen! The bullet trains have those bulbous noses that manage air in tunnels much better.

I would like to see a topo map of this line. Built when?
