Nope, but close! This short line originally received operations consulting from G&W and used their paint scheme, later resuming it's own identity by just painting logos on top of whichever paint scheme the locomotive wore from former owners. Most of their U-boats are black hence their NS heritage. The ex-BNSF units just got their logos covered. Same for the former Conrail B23 and ex BN C30-7s... It looks like they've settled into orange scheme. Just plain orange. Not BNSF or G&W... You are correct. Only about 5 miles remain north from Durango to a lumber yard on the Tepehuanes branch. Regocijo gone. I believe the El Salto branch is not to be touched in case the El Salto-Mazatlan project restarts... |
