Ecuador Earthquakes
Author: stanhunter

I heard that Ecuador has suffered another two earthquakes, 6.7 and 7.2 on the Richter Scale.  Any news of damage to the railroads?

Can't see any report on the BBC and other news outlets of reports of a further quake. What's your source?

This quake was on mentioned on TV last night. Think it was a crawl message during Egypt Air crash coverage.

The quakes were covered here in California. Of course we tend to pay attention to such things here.

I guess the Egyptair incident absorbed all our attention yesterday, although I would have expected something on the BBC's Latin America news page.

A quick mention on CNN Chile....said it was yet more aftershocks from the recent big one.   Here, until it gets to around 8.0 nobody gives much notice.
