Author: AussieGWAdriver

Hi all,

Well i'm back again after a a period of absence. A couple of weeks ago I headed into New South Wales for a few days leading up to Strealiners at 2016 in Goulburn. We followed the transfer movement of B61, GM27, S317, S302 and S306 on Wednesday 9/28/16. It was from Lithgow to Parkes although we followed it from Sodwalls. The first four locomotives are owned by Southern SHorthaul Railroad while S306 is owned by Pacific National. I have added a couple of other trains from the day.

1. 3AS8 Indian Pacific from Adelaide to Sydney approaches Locksley with NR25, 8183.

2. 3AS8 at Sodwalls.

3. D778 light engine movement with B61, GM27, S317, S302 and S306 at Sodwalls.

Justin

The cowl units are pretty wild, same North American nose but side by side roof fans, extended carbodies with C-trucks, double ended cabs, what a mixture. Looks like a great place to visit.
