Thanks for the link, and a very nice photo essay!

Here's a Japanese link with photos of some of the equipment of the railway. The Kiha 22 DMUs (related to the Kiha 20 I mentioned in another thread) are all out of service. Class 46 (#463) near the bottom of the page is the unpowered car the railway uses for the "Stove Special."
