Any Third World Country would buy all the RBBB Circus Train Cars, for they LD Trains System like Indian Railroad or other Country's?? RBBB has 124 cars for sale??

As far as I can make out all of the cars have specialised interiors.   Whatever they were, they aren't now.   The term I saw was that they had all been "tunneled out".   There are no (or very few) seats or sleeper berths.   They aren't suitable even for use on excursion or heritage rides.   About the only thing they seem to be good for is if someone wants to preserve part of a circus train.

Some of the "entertainer cars" would probably be good for lodging at a railroad themed motel or resort (a famous establishment in Essex, MT should look into this, as well as a certain place in PA!).

in the US the universal building code is your enemy with these, 2 room cars may be legal

Why would third world countries be interested in geriatric worn out US cars?

Their politicians earn far more baksheesh with commissions and under the counter backhanders from the Chinese state controlled corporations when they purchase new

Remember that in the third world, with few exceptions (like Brazil), rail is government owned, so the plaything of the political class and their corrupt cronies

How about MBTA and NJT?

There IS a market in 2nd hand trains.   For instance Kiwirail (new Zealand) purchased a bunch of British Railways "Mk2" carriages.   The rebogied them from standard to 3ft 6in stripped out the inside, blocked off the doors at each end and cut holes at 1/3rd and 2/3rd and fitted sliding doors.   Until I happened to read a local railfan magazine I hadn't recognised them at all!.    In Wellington they've recently replaced a bunch of Ganz/Mavag (Hungarian) EMUs with new ones from Korea which they call "Matangis".   The Ganz units have been sold to a South African company. The original assumption seems to have been they would be used in South Africa but the purchaser seems to have been a broker.

South America has some ex Spanish EMUs dotted around.   Chile uses some and I believe there are some in Uruguay as well.   You'll find ex-Japanese units around Asia.

However, as others have said, China offers some extraordinary deals.   New Zealand has some new diesels from them.   But you need to be careful; new they may be but Kiwirail has found asbestos in their new Chinese locos I believe.

But the circus trains are a very special case and, as I said earlier, unless you want to preserve a circus train I'm not sure they are much use to anyone, anywhere.

Certainly is, in Europe you can see cast off British and Danish electric locos in Bulgaria and Hungary, Swedish DMUs in Croatia and Uruguay. But the original post suggested India might be interested, when they have a passenger car building capability far in excess of anything in North America.

Agreed, though a number of the instances quoted are historic, metro carriage stock appears to hold more attraction than long distance

One of the current impediments to rail car export out of Europe is the presence of asbestos, Currently rail vehicles are not allowed out of the European Community if asbestos is present. Apparently Brussels bureaucrats feel impelled to enforce first world standards on the third world

Around 100 million Euro of second hand carriages, and a few locos, were exported from Spain and Portugal to Argentina around 2005, very little of this material was ever used. If you have been following the case of the then Minister for Transport, Ricardo Jaime, through the Argentinean court system, the evidence presented suggests that cronies of the Peronist President arranged the purchase to benefit from the generous kickbacks on offer, the condition of the material was irrelevant, most of the carriages were dilapidated and went into storage upon arrival, and are still rotting away in yards in BA, not all of the locos were rebuild propositions

The NZ deal has collapsed, 30 or so carriages made it to SA, and are currently stored at Welkom, 30 or so carriages have been stacked behind the wharf at Mount Maunganui in NZ for several months, waiting on a cheque to arrive from Africa, the purchaser is rumoured to be under financial stress. The first tranche were sold to Novus/Genrail, and at least one set has been fitted with Scania gensets, to convert into DMU, but the deal with CFCO appears to have collapsed. The NZ Ganz/Mavag EMU contain asbestos insulation (under floor), apparently not legal for Kiwi's to dump at sea with asbestos present, so send to Africa.

South African parastatal Transnet refurbishes redundant carriages for export to countries to the north, these deals are government to government so opaque
 

Perhaps the U.S. Government would be interested, as it qualifies on two counts:  (1) third-world country, and (2) it is run by clowns.

You people should apologize the clowns in the circus. They are talented, good people who take their job seriously and execute it perfectly, unlike Government officials.

I do not remember of a circus train in Brazil. Maybe in other time like in the steam days it could exists, but in diesel era it didn't. Circus were not popular in big cities here, so this can justify to not use trains to move the circus equipments. The circus are more common in small towns in the interior where it never had rails nearby.
