Railfan Technology > Photo / Slide Converter Question & InfoDate: 07/06/10 00:37 Photo / Slide Converter Question & Info Author: SN711 Has anyone had any experience using a Digital Prism brand 3 in 1 Photo Converter?
I just picked one up, but probably won't have time to fool with it for awhile. I saw them at a local CVS Pharmacy store a few weeks ago for $99. This past weekend it was on the 90% Off clearance shelf selling for $9.99. I figured for $10, I can't go wrong. It will convert slides, negatives and photos (3x5, 4x6, 5x7) to digital. I don't expect to convert all my old slides, but more just to have for convenience in case I want to do some basic copies. Was just wondering if anyone had an opinion on the particular brand? Also, if anyone is interested that lives near a CVS Pharmacy store may want to look to see if they have these available at that price. Just don't expect archival quality scans and don't digitize your originals then dispose of them thinking that you're set for life in the digital image department. |
