Railfan Technology > iPad does not remember TO log-in

It remembers most other sites, but despite clicking the "Remember Me" button, and confirming yes, that the key chain wants to remember you password, it is still blank next time I go to trainorders.com.

Has anyone figured out how to make it work?

Do you log on with a different device between visits? If you log on with the iPad and then say visit from your phone or desktop computer and then come back, you will have to log on each and every time. The only device I use to visit TO is an iPad Mini Air (or 2, whatever Apple calls it) running iOS 7.1.2.

Did you recently upgrade to IOS 8? If so, check to see if the virtual keyboard pops up next time you select the username field. If it does, there should be a link that says something like "Autofill Password" at the top of the keyboard. Select it and your saved username/password should be entered into the username/password fields. If the Autofill Password link doesn't show up, then check your saved password settings by selecting the "Settings" icon.

I haven't upgraded to the latest version, this problem started up with the upgrade prior to it and I wonder the same thing.

If I check "remember password" makes no difference either.

I've wondered what others may be experiencing. PIA logging in every time.

I've experienced the same issue, but going from Android phones to different desktops (work & home). I look at it as a minor nuisance that I figure is due to security protocols in place by the ol' webmaster.

Same problem with the new Yosemite OS. On a 15" Macbook Pro late 2013.
Suspect it is one of Apple's way of totally integrating all your devices;
seems for example if you don't use iCloud, problems happen.
And in many cases back up is now being pushed through iCloud
rather than a standard outboard system.
Have friends who are also having problems with their iPads, both mini
and full size.

It is not that I have to log in between visits. I expect that. It is that TO is the ONLY site I visit, that does not remember my user name and password.
