Kickstarter funds film-based photo movement.

The best thing that can come of this is that film has enough of a revival that it gets the attention of film scanner manufacturers enough for them ramp up new models and/or re-release their previously discontinued products (i.e. Nikon and Sony [formerly Minolta]).

My daughter is taking a photography course this year in high school...so far it's been about camera mechanics, composing shots, and developing/printing. The "D" word has not been mentioned - thankfully.

Just a caution, I was burned on a kickstarter project, so users beware... Since then, Ive avoided the site.
