Video editing Software recommendation?

Looking for some video editing software in the $50 and under range, any recommendations? I would really like to stay around the $50 dollar range if possible, just want something relaticly easy to use. I currently use Windows Movie Maker but, would like to use some higher quality software.

Sony Movie Studio is $30 on Amazon via disc or download. The "Platinum" version is $55. And the full Suite is $99.99. I picked up the suite on a sale via Dell a few months ago for $40. It is a lot more advanced than Windows Movie Maker. I, however, only use it for instances where I didn't realize my tripod was unlevel and had to level it out, if the frame allowed for it.

Thanks for your help. Just purchased the Platinum version on Amazon for $55.00.
