The medium format was really nice. John. Date: 03/14/15 06:57 Re: Rollei bankruptcy sale. Author: colehour I always longed for a Rollei TLR, but had to settle for a Yashica, which was a darn good camera for the price. I think I bought my first Yashica from Cambridge Camera about 1965. Even used Rolleis were out of my budget range at the time.

They were always way too expensive for me, but I did mess around with old one and resuscitate them back in the late '60s when you could buy them cheap.
I'd like to hear a German auction.................... Date: 03/14/15 10:46 Re: Rollei bankruptcy sale. Author: ChooChooDennis Leica is just fine. They made the transition to digital with nary a hiccup. Without effort they retained their hold on the luxury enthusiast market. Their cameras are still beautiful and make beautiful images.
Most intriguing to me is the Monochrome model. That's right, a very expensive digital camera that only shoots B&W. They even branched into cinema lenses. Now you cinematographers can buy, (or most likely rent) a set of very expensive primes with a red dot on them. http://us.leica-camera.com/ http://goo.gl/YeCFGz http://goo.gl/OQkFI3 Dennis Livesey New York, NY |
