Adobe Bridge thumbs suddenly brighter the PS /Explorer

In todays episode of "As the Adobe Turns" - what's gone wrong today:

I just noticed that "suddenly", with no notice or reason why, my previews, both thumbs and full size
views in Adobe Bridge are noticibly brighter then they (correctly) appear in Photoshop after opening
them.  The Photoshop view is identical to the view in MS Explorer.

Why?  And more important, how do I fix this?

(Short of burrying my copy of Bridge once and for all)

What version?  You did not say.  If you are using the current "CC" version, something was probably changed online by Adobe.
