Railfan Technology > New e-mail deliveryDate: 10/02/15 16:41 New e-mail delivery Author: mundo I have had it with AT&T/YAHOO.
What are pro/cons of others. Date: 10/02/15 17:18 Re: New e-mail delivery Author: sptno I had both of them, dumped them and then went to Gmail and never looked back.
Nothing is perfect. I don't like the way Gmail is set up so I use Outlook and use POP3 to get my email. There are other choices that you can use other than POP3. Works just fine and I have Outlook installed on mutiple computers. Good luck on making a decision. I use MSN with Outlook on this machine - no issues at all. Date: 10/02/15 20:52 Re: New e-mail delivery Author: BAB I only use Google for my search engine as the others such as ask and bing do not bring results I like. Outlook express works great for me but am not a puter nerd so need all the simplicity I can muster. Don't even ask me about texting...........................

A smart phone and all Mac computers have been the best choice.....Swede....Albany,Or. Date: 10/03/15 20:35 Re: New e-mail delivery Author: Margaret_SP_fan FWIW -- ALL e-mail services read ALL your mail, and
sell every bit of inifo they can get o the highest bifdder. FaceBook does this, too. This is called "data-mining", as is horrible. (I use Yahoo for all my e-mail, and it usually works OK, but I don't like it when -- all too often it refuses to show my Inbox items, and then gives me another Errior [whateer] message. Yahoo was winderful back in 1999 -- but then they changed it, and it has never been all that good since then. When Yahoo Mail misbehaves, I like to say, "Oh geez -- the thing is backfiring, and the wheels are falling off again, and it is leaving parts all over the road again!" when Yahoo Mail misbehaves.) Good luck in finding a really good e-mail provider. Please let us know what you learned. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/10/15 22:00 by Margaret_SP_fan. I became very frustrated trying to import my old Outlook Express files into the newer "improved" mail servers, such as Outlook, etc., and finally figured out that I could still run OE "virtually." OE was the very best mail program I ever used and it allows you to archive files in a useful manner within the program itself without slowing down the mail server operation. I have have 8 gigs of emails going back to approximately1998 that I can access instantly, sorted by date sent, date received, sender, addressee or subject matter. -- Greg Date: 10/05/15 08:13 Re: New e-mail delivery Author: jst3751 Margaret_SP_fan Wrote:
