Any experience and recommendations for a service that converts slides to dvd.

Thanks,

What is your end-game? Looking at your images on TV or as a on-screeen slide show? Or do you actually want archival-quality scans of your slides?

End game is more for convient storage and access on computer display.  Nothing special in 2K of slides with 75% being non-rail.

Try Costco or Walmart photo centers.

I tried this at a local photography store. They didn't bother to remove dust from any, and apparently wasn't aware it makes a difference which side goes up in the scanner!

I wonder why they're no longer in business.

I mentioned Costco because, although I have no use for this service, I've known friends and family members who have used the service for family/vacation photos and were happy with it.

Thanks to all who provided input.  Have determined Costco will be best for my needs.
