Wolverine F2D Mighty adjust scan size
Author: Railpax71

Several of us on TO are using this scanner to process our historic negatives and film. It works great. Has anyone made the following procedure from the Wolverine website to work on their unit to scan full frame rather than crop horizontally? I am not able to bring up the setup options screen as described in step 2.

How to adjust zooming to eliminate default cropping

The default settings for the Wolverine F2D Mighty is to Horizontally crop the image slightly because of the 4:3 digital aspect ratio. If you would like to eliminate cropping but don’t mind having black bands on top and bottom of the image do the following:
  1. Power the unit
  2. At the Film Type prompt press and HOLD the right arrow button, while tholding the right arrow button tap the OK button.
  3. At the Setup Options screen press the HOLD the left arrow button, while holding the left arrow button tap the OK button.
  4. Press the Right Arrow button twice to highlight "WinRange" and press OK/ENTER.
  5. Press the Right Arrow button to Zoom-Out or the Left Arrow Button to Zoom- In. You can set the image size up to 98%.
  6. Press OK/ENTER button to finalize setting.
  7. Press C button to Exit setup option.
