Railfan Technology > DSLR Video 30 FPS vs 60 FPSDate: 01/16/17 19:14 DSLR Video 30 FPS vs 60 FPS Author: UP9000 For those of you who film video with a DSLR,how much of a difference do you see between 30 FPS and 60 FPS? I am looking to invest in a new rig, yet would like to not have to spend more than I have to. Lots of great DSLR's out there that film up to 30 FPS that can be had for a song. Just curious to get your take.
Thank you! Jamie Miller Date: 01/17/17 07:13 Re: DSLR Video 30 FPS vs 60 FPS Author: jkh2cpu 30 fps works for me with the Nikon D600. I've got a video
post or two here to check on TO. John. Date: 01/18/17 21:58 Re: DSLR Video 30 FPS vs 60 FPS Author: clem I got a camera which happened to do 60 FPS. But it seems that - unlike the increasing resolution - no one's really pushing for increased frame rate. If I read Wikipedia correctly, even DCP - the movie studios distribution medium - supports 60 FPS only for 2K resolution and not for 4K.
