Passenger Trains > Amtrak California Nights

Time to jump on the nightshot bandwagon...

I know I have posted a lot of these in the past but the best night light shots here in Oakland are the Amtrak coach yard night time moves. Wasn't really planning to take this nightshot tonight while out chasing the DRGW5401 that came into town but an Amtrak buddy and his trainset that he wyed were just sitting there waiting for their turn back to the coach yard. And sitting there posing in some nice Schnitzer Steel provided night light so while the UP4301, DRGW5401 and GECX2816 pulled into the W. Oakland yard, I got this shot off real quick. More to come as I get organized with some oldie but goodies - well nothing in my digital collection is more then 3 years old (heh heh).

Nice shot but you should have gotten out your can of EspeeBoy graffiti spraypaint and done something to the snowplow before you took the shot.

Um.. That's because EspeeBoy graffiti spraypaint only comes in TWO COLORS:

1) SP Scarlet
2) SP Lark Dark Gray

and so the paint wouldn't have matched! LOL!
