What's up with the design of the Metrolink station?

The NIMBY's like it.

The station style is supposed to remind people of "old west" movie towns.
Kind of fun in my opinion.

Surprised there are no cars with the engine for braking.

2 - BNSF AC4400's with extended range dynamics work just as well without cars as they do with cars...

Actually as I love any steam on Metrolink, technically 3751 is to modern for the "western theme" of the station. Should have been a 4-4-0, but those are a little hard to come by....

The facades are a architect's idea of fitting in with the Acton area horse/western feeling out there.
