Attached to this thread are seven scenes from March 20, 2017 of CSXT's Geometry Train is it swung into town via the A&WP/WofA Subdivision. After arriving at Tilford Yard, the train was routed southward to Manchester and Fitzgerald. Of course since late 2015, the train now features a one and only unit to CSX, GP40WH-2 9969 which is dedicated to this train. The consist also has "new" cars as compared to the consist which GP40-2 6025 pulled prior to late 2015. After shooting the train at East Point, the cloud bank reversed and rolled back over the city which gave the opportunity to get a bonus shot over the NS Atlanta South End District and at Spring along side the remaining South Tower left over from Terminal Station. These last two views wouldn't have been possible with sunny skies. 
1st shot-    W003 stands at Palmetto in the early hours of the morning prior to the day's work. 
2ND shot-   W003 steps through the OS point at East Point where they'll get on NS for the ride to Jones Ave.
3rd  shot-    W003 glides through East Point, Georgia as a northbound Marta races up from behind.

4th shot-   W003 glides through East Point, Georgia 
5th shot-   W003 passes by Oakland Jct, it was at this point where the A&WP Belt Line split off to the east. 
6th shot-   W003 slides over the NS Atlanta South District as it nears downtown Atlanta.

7th shot-  W003 slides by the only remaining structure from Atlanta's Terminal Station at CP Spring. The former Southern Railway office building serves as the backdrop, this structure was also used as the hospital in A&E's Walking Dead series.

Very nice images. Is CSX 9969 the only CSX unit with Mars lights vs ditch lights? As I understand, a locomotive can have a headlight and a Mars or Gyra light and no ditch lights and exceed 25mph. Correct?

Nice pics!!

Former MARC engine # 69 used in commuter service in Maryland. They were equipped with Mars lights which satisfy the ditch light requirement.

Correct. And the speed limit over public grade crossings is 20mph without auxiliary lights.

9969 is the only engine I can think of now in revenue service, owned by a class one with a working mars light...
