Swan Song

As you all know, PTC continues to spread like the bubonic plague across the NS Pittsburgh Line. Like many, I am continuing my mad dash to make up for lost time. Living in Altoona for 9 months out of the year has helped this cause greatly. I've decided to capture the final days of Pennsy position lights on the Pitt Line through exposures. Not all of them have turned out the way I planned, but I will be happy to look back on them ten years from now when such scenes will no longer exist, perfect or not.

Thankfully, however, some of them have turned out great. The photo shown is of NS train 20R knocking down a clear at MP 258.8 (Portage) on a very chilly November night.
