BNSF Seattle Sub

BNSF at Vader on the Seattle Sub. (for those that have not been there - its the north-south line between Seattle and Portland). BNSF owns the tracks and UP has trackage rights.
1. BNSF northbound grain train
2. BNSF freight headed to Portland
3. BNSF oil train routed down the Columbia River to Vancouver then north through Vader. Headed to export in Vancouver.

4. Northbound BNSF freight at Vader
5. BNSF oil train headed to Vancouver, at Napavine
6. Northbound Amtrak Cascades at Vader

7. Northbound BNSF coal at Winlock
8. Southbound Amtrak Starlight at Winlock
9. UP power transfer headed to Portland, at Winlock

10. Northbound Amtrak Cascades just south of Vader
11. With the Seahawks Cabbage unit. (Cab unit, unpowered, with baggage compartment obvious with rollup door)
12. Another southbound Amtrak Cabbage. All the cabbage units face southbound.

Neat places on the busy Joint Line.  I videotaped at both Winlock and Vader back in May including spending the night at Vader.  The program covering this line will be released in about a week.

The oil trains are probably going to either Cherry Point, Anacortes or Tacoma.
