Lamoille Valley RS-3's climbing the hill with the daily eastbound freight at Greensboro Bend, VT in the winter of 78-79. V plow does the honors, purchased for $80 from the nearby town of Hardwick, when the roads were paved, and bulldozers no longer were allowed for snow clearing. weather entry

Great catch on this northern Vermont shortline. It's a winner in my book. Very appropriate since the long dormant LVRC rails are being removed to become a hiking/bike trail soon.
