Fresh snow met BNSF's trackage rights train on Union Pacific's Moffat Tunnel line at Coal Creek Canyon, CO, west of Denver on April 24, 1999. The Riverbank (Stockton, CA) to Denver train, M RRBDEN1 19, orginated in California on April 19th. BNSF 9-44CW 4923 led ATSF 866 through over a foot of snow. I had to catch my breath after climbing the hills to get this angle!
