West Texas Sunrise

I spent 20 minutes on the Transcon this morning. The brief visit to the BNSF Panhandle Subdivision provided a few views.

1. 0702 Dawn is breaking on the horizon as the 4146 rolls west with a H train.

2. 0704 Overnight a red hued "Blood Moon" crossed the earth's shadow, but by this hour the moon is back to normal as the moon sets over the 4146 west.

3. 0711 The sun is starting to break over the horizon as the 6971 rolls west with a stack train

4. 0711 Traffic on US 60 at sunrise

5. 0712 The moon continues it's decent into the west over the 6971 West.
