Cheakamus Canyon Gamble Pays Off... Kinda
Author: BCR4619

Made up my mind to head up to Squamish, BC for the day.... After sitting in a stopped traffic due to a accident just north of Britannia Beach for 2 hours I finally made it to Squamish around 12:30pm which lead me to the WCRA to do a little summer cleaning of the Bud Cars.... which shine like a diamond I might add :)

Work was done by about 3:30 and then proceeded into the depths of the Cheakamus Canyon

1) First up is Train 612 with RMR 8014 Leading at a snails pace so guests can take photos of the stunning canyon.

2) CN 570 plagued with more problems that you can count on your two hands gets re-crewed at the Hydro Crossing just North SNS Garibaldi

3) On the move again with the new crew.

4) Going through the S Curve a few seconds later

5) Headend along the Cheakamus River in the pouring rain....

6) DPU's... or DPU as the 2502 didn't want to work.

Thanks for looking!

'Two Tone Green' (will have to find out the story there . . assume it's got to do with the old PGE paint scheme?)

That first shot of the Whistler Mountaineer should be IOTD!!

Thanks Craig!

I have been part of a few forums over the years and then disappeared for a bit, thought I would give TO a try!

My username on various forums were Two-Tone-Green or TTGVP

It just don't look right without two tone green or red, white, and blue! Awesome stuff though man, and congrats on the IOTD!
