Hello...

BC Rail 4601 came through Squamish this weekend. As we know this is one of a few units in BC Rail paint scheme.

The crew is ready to depart , and departing, in this sequence of photos.

The 2nd unit was IC1022.

The northbound from Squamish is designated as Train 571.
1. 4601 at the station after crew has made up train and performed brake tests.
2. A closer view of the power. 4601-1022-2723-2665-8893.
3. With OCS clearance in hand, the crew gets 4601 on the move out of Squamish.

I would call it more than a few... 24 of the -8 Variety, and 3 of the -9WL.... Still quite a bit.

She lead a few trains south last month, Lead again out of Lillooet early this morning as you see in the photos NB

CN doesn't seem to be in much of a hurry to repaint these units.
And I hope they don't change their minds anytime soon!

RE: HDR images, the original posted images are regular with a little colour tweaking.

I do use the HDR approach when the subjects are stationary.

This one is an HDR product.
