Western Railroad Discussion > KCS Holiday Express - Mena, ArkansasDate: 12/15/14 20:19 KCS Holiday Express - Mena, Arkansas Author: midlandvalley Kansas City Southern's annual Holiday Express was in Mena, Arkansas this past Saturday evening. A large crowd was on hand to view the train (and Santa Claus) at the KCS depot there; most stopped to admire Rudy, the "power" for the train. Meanwhile, a few blocks away the actual power (KCS 1/KCS 3/KCS 2)waited for the call to put the train back together for the journey north to Heavener, OK.

I was trying to make my way over to see/ask if any one was a member here on TO. But ya'll moved on down from intersection by the time I got out of mass of people. I had my little girl with me and didn't want get to close to traffic. She had been sick when it had stopped here in Texarkana, so we made the two hour drive up to Mena.. Here's my intersection shot.
