The last picture, with the Amfleet roof line and the Viewliner roof line, shows the contour difference very well. Date: 12/17/14 11:59 Re: Hialeah Bound Viewliners on the Roll Author: march_hare Looks like what the 1990s Amtrak management was trying to do with package express--twenty cars of baggage, and a rider coach.
Date: 12/17/14 12:01 Re: Hialeah Bound Viewliners on the Roll Author: Topfuel Those roof vent covers sure are ugly. They surely could have come up with a design just like the old Budd baggage cars. Photo showing roof of CZ baggage car that I saved off the internet somewhere. Apologies that I don't know who the photog was.

See you some night in Alliance OH! David Date: 12/17/14 12:15 Re: Hialeah Bound Viewliners on the Roll Author: 41 All it needs is a Viewliner RPO .

Date: 12/17/14 12:56 Re: Hialeah Bound Viewliners on the Roll Author: highballs Sure seems like they're going with PHASE III on more than just a "Few" cars Note how they're now branding the Current logo with the Three Stripes

That would be nice. I was looking through some older AEM-7 pictures, and admired how nice the Phase III scheme looked. A world better than the grubby, no branding look on today's AEM-7 units. And fair warning: Get your "heritage" baggage car photos now! Clearly, their end is near. Date: 12/17/14 13:52 Re: Hialeah Bound Viewliners on the Roll Author: 3751_loony Woodman Wrote:

I guess NY to Philly they can just tack on a ACS64 and it could handle the whole thing fine. Date: 12/17/14 14:53 Re: Hialeah Bound Viewliners on the Roll Author: PCCRNSEngr I think 42-822 will be on all the way to Florida. Train to be looped at Sunnyside.

Date: 12/17/14 15:21 Re: Hialeah Bound Viewliners on the Roll Author: oilcan Are any of these planned to go into western LD service soon?
