Two of my favorite shots from a quick trip to Soda Springs on Donner Pass in a pretty decent snowstorm.

Great pictures, you can feel the cold coming off the Amtrak picture.

That baggage car is probably on its last winter, maybe even its next to last month in service.

If you go trackside and wait for a train... well, better enjoy the scenery. I live a mile from the #1 mainline and they're few and far between. Lived inSo Cal and went to Cajon a lot...sure spoiled me.
