Fifth: Pulling up to 11th Street at Salisbury NC preparing to head around the north leg of the wye Sixth: Pulling under the signals at Church Street in Salisbury NC preparing to make an aborted attempt to back around the south leg of the wye. And as for my editoral comment, just goes to show what an American railroad can do when those in the power seats of the corporate boardroom are pushing the project with a "full steam ahead" attitude.

Have just about given up hope on living long enough to see the Big Boy run. Obviously, the Union Pacific does not care much anymore about running their steam even though they have the resources to do it. Kudos to all the volunteers and the steam shop in Spencer for a great job.
