Relating to trains I'm proud to say that I'm crazy about steam. In the last decade I have traveled behind 1522, 1293, 2719 and 4449 on trips in the midwest. Family members who have been involved in railroad activity include my great Grandfather driving Burlington Zephyrs, my grandfather was a fundraiser for Texas and Pacific 610 to pull the Freedom train. Amoung the steam locomotives I have seen but not ridden behind are 261, 844, 3985. Other engines that I like quite a bit are Berkshires engines bult by Baldwin and Lima. |
