Trainorders.com is the largest and busiest railroad enthusiast web site on the Internet. We have been in business since 1997. The idea for selling realistic wooden trains came about after news spread of unsafe leaded paint in Chinese made wooden trains. We were appalled as one mission of our web site is to share the railroad hobby with the next generation of railroad enthusiasts. After researching toy train manufacturing we learned that very few toy trains are manufactured in the United States leaving parents with no choice but to buy Chinese.

Going through my own children's wooden train collection from several years ago I found a US based manufacture. After reviewing their extensive product line I decided to offer these products on the Internet in a dedicated store in an effort to get these American made trains into American Children's hands.
