Although it looks like a regular box car, these material handling cars had high speed wheels so they can travel fast on Amtrak trains. These cars carried low priority United States Mail like magazines, catalogs, and parcel post packages. They were recently retired from passenger train use as ground mail travels across the country on piggy back freight trains.
