I have a few promotional author copies of my 200-page detective mystery, Murder in the Observation Car.

Set on board the B&O's National Limited (with another long scene on the PRR's Constitution) in the winter of 1948, the novel is inspired by detective writing in the Agatha Christie tradition. It is closely-researched all the way down to the consist information and layout of the rooms on the Pullmans. The main character is the fictional B&O railway detective Ellicott Robinson, assisted in this story by an American diplomat just back from Europe.

There are trains, a blizzard, a corpse, a bit of real Cold War history, and more trains. What's not to like?
