In Diesel Light: A Railroad Photographer's Album This photographic monograph is a magnificent collection of 120 black and white images dating from 1974 through 1992, with most in the early to mid 1980s of Amtrak, Burlington Northern, Rio Grande, Santa Fe, Southern Pacific, Union Pacific, Western Pacific, and more. Laid out across 96 pages and arranged from dawn to dusk, this monograph features not only the familiar haunts of Southern and Northern California, but Northern Arizona and the Pacific Northwest. Most of the locomotives featured are also now gone from the scene. Twilight In Gray: Volume I This 96 page black and white photographic monograph is the first of two volumes, this one showcasing 125 photographs of the Southern Pacific Railroad between 1976 and 1992. Locations include Beaumont, Cajon, Donner, Tehachapi, and many more. Classic SP motive power from that era abounds between pages, and is shown in transition from rebuilding and a failed merger. While this is not a history, the photographs contained within are now historical themselves. Twilight In Gray: Volume II This 96 page black and white photographic monograph is the second of two volumes. As with Volume I, this volume contains 137 photographs of the Southern Pacific Railroad between 1976 and 1992. Also like Volume I, locations include Beaumont, Cajon, Donner, Tehachapi, plus many others not often seen. As with Volume 1, this monograph is not a history, but the photographs in it are now historical. Three book bundle available.
