Featuring Private Railcars TIOGA PASS PACIFIC SANDS Presents: Two private railcar trips First, A “railfan style” budget trip for the true train lovers, Aboard Pacific Sands, from Los Angeles to Seattle, leaving Los Angeles on Amtrak’s Coast Starlight, May 14th, at 10am. On this specially priced trip, no meal service except light snacks and soft drinks will be available. Passengers will be able to take their meals in the Amtrak dining car on the train if they wish, by moving up to the dining car at station stops and return to Pacific Sands at a later stop. Upon arrival in Seattle the evening of May 15th, the car will be placed on the private car tracks at King Street Station. Your railcar will serve as your hotel while you enjoy Seattle on the 3 day layover. Guests leaving the trip in Seattle may stay the night of May 15th on the railcar. Guests joining in Seattle may arrive the afternoon of May 16 for a two-night layover before the trip. And Then….. At Seattle, TIOGA PASS, another LA Rail car, will join Pacific Sands for the return trip to Los Angeles. Both cars will be open to our guests, and full meal and beverage service will be provided in the dining room of TIOGA PASS. We will leave Seattle at 945am Wednesday, May 18th, for a magnificent journey home, thru the Cascade Mountains, past the San Francisco Bay area, and along the California coastline. Dinner in the dining room as the sun sets on the Pacific is to be remembered!
