LA based private railcars TIOGA PASS and Pacific Sands are booked for a private group charter from Oakland to Seattle on October 8th. These two cars will be "deadheading" on Amtrak's Coast Starlight from Los Angeles to Oakland where they will pick up the charter group. We can accommodate a limited number of passengers who might enjoy a one-day private car trip from Los Angeles to San Luis Obispo. Those who choose this trip will enjoy the legendary ride along the coastline and should arrive in San Luis Obispo in ample time to travel back to LA aboard the Southbound Coast Starlight or Amtrak's Surfliner the same day. Returning from Seattle Southbound on October 13th thru Salinas and San Luis Obispo we will be able to host a limited number of riders. Passengers on these short trips will enjoy lunch or dinner in the dining room of TIOGA PASS and, as always, FULL beverage service is included with your fare.
