This location is just below Cantara Loop at the 17th crossing of the Sacramento River. If you guys are looking for Fall color locations the Sacramento River Canyon can some years be pretty spectacular. Even the UP doesnt look bad.

Date: 10/03/08 23:29 Re: Fall color preview Author: DNRY122 Some years ago we made one of our periodic trips to New England, so my wife, who's from New Hampshire, could enjoy fresh (not jet-lagged) lobsters and marvel at the colorful foliage. Imagine her annoyance when I came back from a day-trip (pilgrimage?) to Seashore Trolley Museum and reported that people riding the old-time streetcar saw some of the best leaf color in all New England.
