A few days ago somebody ask about the Ferromex SD40-2, I catch this one
on Dallas back in February 2005.

It was the 7th unit out of a 9th unit train that blast thru this place.

There was one of these on a work train in Cajon last year Nice paint job Are these built for Mexico new units? Or are they US hand me downs?

I think this ones were brand new back in 1970's
where made for NdeM serial number 8700 then after
the privatization in 1997 Ferromex got some units
as well TFM which are in the series 1400 like this
one.
