Haven't bombarded you guys with some Olive Sub pix in awhile, so here are a few more from my collection. Todays post features Metrolink trains crossing various streets along the Olive Sub. What the Olive Sub lacks in variety, it makes up for with predictablity as well as access, although it should be noted that the third picture was exceedingly difficult to get. Not because it's hard to get in with a camera, but hoping that the train and camera line up at the same time without any cars crossing in front of you.

The Taft / Glassell / Orange-Olive is a real pretty show at night when all the red lights flash. I haven't counted them before but there have to be 20+ cross buck lights plus all the traffic signals all flashing red or showing red stop. All you need is a disco ball . . .

I'll have to check that out and see if I can get a shot of the nighttime light show. Meanwhile, here is a daytime shot of part of that intersection just as the lights and arms were on their way down.

EDIT: Here's another shot of the same intersection, but from the opposite side of the tracks as shown in the original #3 photo.
