Here are a couple of the latest BNSF ES44AC's working
through Colorado Springs yesterday and today.
Hard to think SD9's once occupied this number group.

Ah man, I still have a hard time figuring out what is what by number and this will just make it worse.

Whats hard for me to believe is that they started numbering them that way so quickly after the SD9s. Considering it was a couple of years after the 5000-5100 C30-7s and 4000-4100 B units were gone before they ventured into those numbers with Dash 9s.
