Oakland today
Author: alex14ramos

Not much going on at Oakland in the 10 minutes I was there. There was a BNSF 9244 working the OIG switcher and the MOARV was a mixture of about 7 tunnel motors and SD40-2's. Sitting at Homestead yard was a local with two units which looked to be ready for departure.

Here's shot of a DRGW patcher and the pizza box switcher on what I believe is the Long St Job. Topper should know! ; - )

Take Care,
Alex Ramos

I see I need to take a trip down to the OIG, especially with the new switcher working instead of that tired SD40-2. Any other goodies you find there RamosMan?

You are correct, sir!

Two units were necessary due to having 5180 tons.
