There are some dispatcher's links, but you said basic. This is what I use on the Pass.

Author: daved With all those different areas, I would just put in all the channels if you have the room in the radio. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble. The full band list is on my RR radio site.

Those freqs include all of the BNSF and UP road and MOW freq currently in use in CA,AZ,NV,& NM That should cover you for most of the western USA. On my roadtrip last winter they worked for the two companies all the way from the Mississippi west.
You can leave out the police and the UHF's unless you have the channel space to spare. |
