Date: 06/24/08 18:52 Re: Wherizit???? Author: sjbatty Being a heritage member, the thumbnails are hard to make out due to lack of detail.
But, from what I CAN see, I'd wager it's the former D&RGW Tintic Branch near Eureka, Utah? Steve MP RG719 Lehi, Utah Date: 06/24/08 18:55 Re: Wherizit???? Author: lizzard_45 Here's a bit of a hint...ex D&RGW trackage...shots taken from a caboose

Jason Date: 06/24/08 19:36 Re: Wherizit???? Author: lizzard_45 You got it Jason!
The first shot is looking at Squaw Peak, and the second is one of Mount Timpanogos. This was taken from 3745, the former MoPac caboose on the Heber Valley Railroad. Paul H. Liddiard Date: 06/24/08 19:52 Re: Wherizit???? Author: sjbatty D'oh! How could I ever forget the HVRR?! And I'm from Utah no less!
Nice pics, Paul, from what I can see of them. Steve MP RG719 Lehi, Utah Date: 06/24/08 19:54 Re: Wherizit???? Author: truxtrax What's the "wammer-jammer" in the lower right of the picture?
Butch Date: 06/24/08 20:29 Re: Wherizit???? Author: lizzard_45 That "wammer - jammer" is the step plate should the 3745 find itself in the middle of a train.
PHL Date: 06/24/08 22:28 Re: Wherizit???? Author: SCAX3401 They finally finish all the road work on US189 at Deer Lake Reservoir? It was a mess the last two times I rode the Heber Valley. I was wondering if the old bridge over the old highway would survive the construction. Thanks for the photos, always enjoy that train ride.
