I was out and about in southern Az and got some shots at red rock AZ. Photo 1. is Red Rock AZ Southern Pacific depot, that is a now private home. Photo 2 Southern Pacific water tower currently used for city water. Ironically, my home town of Willcox Arizona stood in for it... for years when I was a kid, the old abanonded lumber yard still said "Red Rock Sheriff" on the door. the Hospital seen in the movie was the same one I was born in. I don't know about the Nicolas Cage movie, but it was used for a scene in the movie Above And Beyond about Paul Tibbets and the 509th Composite Group. It was a stand in for a rail station at Wendover Army Air Field. |
