Jan 4 2010 we have a taste of the past. The ski train power and the UP heritage unit were parked close enough to shoot them together....for a little while. I can only hope that the problems w/the ski train will be resolved nxt.season. The San Louis and Rio Grande units were pulled off the now broken up ski train and moved to Denver's North yd.and parked in front of the tower while the snobus sat in the ready for the next storm.

Will these units now go down to Alamosa?

Bummer! I was just there on the 3rd and they were still hooked up to the snow bus power...

In Pueblo this morning.

scheduled interchange in Walsenburg for the wee hours of JAN.7 That would be the San luis and Rio Grande connection so it looks like Alamoaa it is.
