I do 71 south of KC to Joplin at least once a month, every month, I swear there's elves
polishing the track because on two years of doing this I've never seen a train. Now I know
why, the power sits in Cathage collecting dust.

caught a daylight move near Harrisonville one afternoon during the week, June 2007.

I like that logo of the MNA, note the Mopac Eagle similarity in their design.

Carthage sub was a favorite of mine, KC-south, back in Mopac days.

Nice shots. What kind of unit is the MNA #4077? Maybe a SD40T-2? The Central Oregon and Paciifc had some MNA units out here in the early days. Two SD10's, and some others.
Thanks for sharing.

You're making me homesick Len, your shots from this trip are outstanding. Keep 'em coming.

Take care my friend.

The MNA is a neat little RR with some cool power. That being said, the management is a bunch of morons and @$$ clowns.
