Perma-Fix Receives Approval For Rail Spur Into Facility
Author: melloj

I used to own some stock in this company (Perma-Fix), but it was basically like hiding money under my mattress...and just as uncomfortable.

Anyway, I'm still on their mailing list.

I don't know if this is of interest to anybody here, but I thought I'd post a link to the news release just in case.

Here is the opening statement. The link is below the statement.

ATLANTA, Sept. 22, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. (Nasdaq:PESI) today announced it has received final approval for construction of a rail spur at the Perma-Fix Northwest Facility (PFNW) adjacent to the Hanford nuclear site in Richland, Washington. The rail spur is expected to be completed in early 2011 and will facilitate the movement of radioactive wastes directly into the facility, thereby minimizing any health risk to the local community.
